FortiClient is a unified agent from Fortinet that combines zero trust network access and secure remote access with endpoint protection. It connects endpoints to the Fortinet Security Fabric and reports telemetry such as user identity, protection status and unpatched vulnerabilities.
Beyond VPN-encrypted tunnels and universal ZTNA, it includes URL filtering, CASB, AI-based next-generation antivirus, ransomware protection, USB device control and software inventory. It runs on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, ChromeOS and Linux, and is managed centrally through FortiClient EMS or FortiClient Cloud, with an on-premises or air-gapped option.
