Who we are and how the30top works

For each service category, the30top scores every eligible company with one published formula, the30top Score, and lists the top 30. We also keep a directory of software products and a researched list of AI agent tools.

Most company profiles are researched by our team from public information and are marked unclaimed until the company claims and verifies them.

• We collect each company's services, locations, team, portfolio work and client reviews, from the company and its public website.
• Companies prove they control their domain, reviews are screened against our review rules, and reported errors are checked and corrected.
• Every eligible company in a category is scored out of 100 on six factors with fixed, published weights.
• We publish the 30 highest scores with each company's score breakdown, and lists update as the data changes.

Buyers use the30top for free, and any company can list or claim its profile for free. Revenue comes from paid plans for companies, which add profile tools and visibility features, and from sponsored placements that are labeled "Sponsored" and kept apart from the numbered list.

Money never buys a rank, a place in a Top 30, a review, a rating, ownership verification or an award. Plan level is not an input to the score. See pricing for plan details.

Our research team researches categories, keeps company data accurate, writes the buyer guides and answers correction requests. The order of every ranking is calculated by code from the published formula. No one on the team can move a company up or down by hand.

The domain the30top.com was used by unrelated websites before the current site. Pages from that earlier period have been removed and return a "gone" status. If you find an old page that does not belong to the current site, please tell us.
