Azure Site Recovery replicates workloads running on Azure VMs, on-premises Hyper-V and VMware VMs, and Windows or Linux physical servers so they can fail over during an outage. Continuous replication and a choice of crash-consistent and application-consistent recovery points keep data loss low.
Recovery plans let teams sequence the failover of multitier applications and integrate with Azure Automation runbooks. Test failovers validate the strategy without downtime, and centralized monitoring and Private Link support cover large and isolated environments.
