by Amazon Web Services
An always-on autonomous on-call engineer from AWS
Reviewed by the the30top research team · Last reviewed 2026-10-27
Overview
AWS DevOps Agent investigates incidents autonomously, produces root cause analysis with mitigation steps and posts findings to channels such as Slack. It also offers release management features, currently in preview, including pull request review with SAFE, CAUTION or BLOCK verdicts. It connects to tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty and ServiceNow, and to private or remote MCP servers. Billing is per agent-second, which is flexible but harder to forecast than a seat price.
Our verdict
A capable, broadly integrated agent with fair usage billing and a generous trial. Budgeting takes some modelling.
Best for
AWS-centric teams that want an autonomous on-call agent billed only when it works.
Avoid if
You need a fixed monthly price or have little footprint on AWS.
