Terragrunt orchestrates Terraform and OpenTofu at scale. Teams split infrastructure into units with their own state, control execution order with a run queue, and cut repetition with includes, hooks and reusable stacks.
It also offers an infrastructure catalog with scaffolding, authentication tooling for least privilege access, feature flags, and Terragrunt Scale features such as CI/CD pipelines, drift detection and the Patcher dependency tool. It targets platform teams and is open source.
