Sangfor Athena EPP, previously known as Sangfor Endpoint Secure, is a modern endpoint protection platform that combines next-generation antivirus (NGAV), endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities and endpoint management in one solution. Detection is powered by the Sangfor Engine Zero and Neural-X AI engines.
It includes asset and patch management, dedicated ransomware protection with an endpoint honeypot, behavioral monitoring and rapid process termination, SMB remote ransomware protection, and ransomware recovery through automatic file backup and VSS integration. Forensic analysis and threat hunting offer attack chain visualization with MITRE ATT&CK mapping. It supports Windows, macOS and many Linux distributions, can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid, and serves manufacturing, finance, government, healthcare and education.
