About

Dagger is a programmable CI engine with an open source runtime, run locally, on your servers or on Dagger Cloud.

Dagger is a programmable CI system that describes itself as third-generation CI, after Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Pipelines are written as modules in languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript, Java, PHP, Elixir and Rust, so the same pipeline runs on a laptop and in CI.

The Dagger Engine is open source. Features include test-native views of individual tests, dev shells that open in the state where a command failed, and remote execution on your own infrastructure or on Dagger Cloud.

Key features

Pipelines written in general-purpose languages; Open source Dagger Engine; Test-native result views; Dev shells at the point of failure; Remote execution; Runs locally, on your servers or on Dagger Cloud; Sandboxed execution
