Cline is an open-source AI coding agent that works inside VS Code and JetBrains and from the command line. It uses Plan and Act modes, supports MCP integration and an MCP marketplace, and runs with a client-side architecture so code stays under the developer's control.

Cline is free for individual developers, who pay only for AI inference at cost or bring their own API keys. The Enterprise plan adds SSO, role-based access control, centralized billing, authentication logs, a team management dashboard, and dedicated support with an SLA.
