8th Wall is an open source platform for building AR and interactive 3D experiences. The XR Engine adds features such as image targets, face effects and sky effects, with world effects and absolute scale available through the engine binary. 8th Wall Desktop is a visual editor for developing 3D and AR projects.
The tools are free to use with no login requirement. Teams bring their own source control and tooling, build locally and host the finished project anywhere. Utilities such as the Image Target Processor and XR Extras UI components, plus starter templates and feature demos, speed up setup.
