SoftServe was founded in 1993 in Lviv by two postgraduate students of Lviv Polytechnic, initially supported by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Incubator Center, with General Electric as its first known client. The company has grown into a global IT consultancy and software development firm with dual headquarters in Lviv, Ukraine and Austin, Texas, operating 58 locations across 14 countries. SoftServe was instrumental in building Microsoft's Bird's Eye service in 2004 and now delivers generative AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and machine learning solutions to enterprise clients worldwide.
