Claude Research

Agentic research across the web and your Workspace
Reviewed by the the30top research team · Last reviewed 2026-10-27
Overview
Claude's Research feature works agentically: it runs several searches that build on each other, decides what to investigate next, and cites its findings so they can be checked. It can search the web and, with the Google Workspace integration, your email, calendar and documents. Research is not on the Free plan, and Anthropic's own announcement describes the feature as beta, so availability and limits may shift.
Our verdict
A solid cited research mode that is easy to adopt if you already pay for Claude. It is a general assistant feature, not a specialist research platform.
