Founded in 1987 by St John's College, University of Cambridge, St John's Innovation Centre (SJIC) is Europe's first and the UK's longest-running business incubator. Located in the heart of Cambridge's world-renowned technology cluster, SJIC provides flexible office space ranging from 140 to 2,500 sq ft, virtual offices, and dedicated desks — all with inclusive pricing and flexible terms. Beyond workspace, SJIC offers fully funded, expert one-to-one business support through its Innovation & Growth team, covering strategy, funding, IP, and international market entry. As an accredited Innovate UK Business Growth and Enterprise Europe Network partner, and one of only six EU|BIC certified centres in the UK, SJIC supports ambitious, innovation-led companies from startup to scaleup. Its community spans global training programmes, the Women4Technology leadership network, and curated visits for international delegations exploring the Cambridge innovation ecosystem.
